Way back when, I was born in the little town of San Carlos, California, US of A, to a fun-loving couple, Roy and Betty. We had a good friend who was at that time called an Interior Decorator, by the name of Paul. Paul had a shop in his garage where he made many things which he incorporated into his interiors for other people. It was in this shop where I got turned on to creating things with wood. This inspiration has stayed with me all these many years. I cannot, for the sake of me, stop making things, be it studio furniture, pieces of sculpture, or wall pieces . . . I love working in wood! Recently, I have been playing with something called marquetry, where thin pieces of wood, about the thickness of a business card, are cut and glued to surfaces. It’s so much fun!
